Rio de Janeiro grew up to the sides of the bay, the Marvelous City. Fantasy name to a perfect combination of sea, earth, climate and people. A nice mixture of the Indian, White and Black cultures, fermented in a magnificent natural scenery.
Very few cities in the world are able to concentrate, in a very cool way, all the little icons that makes life a party: beach, sun, samba, frozen beer, tasteful food, football, beautiful people, streets with light curves that lead to little tropical forests.
Rio de Janeiro is an intense modernity, and it’s also a quotidian meeting with the past. The baroque art found in churches and monasteries, the deco art found in very preserved residential facades, the modernist architecture from 1950’s: all of these elements make Rio a witness of its own history.

People from all social classes, side by side, in peace, in manifestations that mix magic and devotion, devotees make offerings to Iemanjá, the African Goddess of the Waters.
One of the largest fireworks in the world with about 15-minute duration, illuminates the beauty of Copacabana Beach in various colors. Two million people united by the incomparable spirit of Rio greet each other, even if they are strangers, and walk in the direction of the shore to make their offerings. Each one in their own private ritual.

Displaying the very essence of Brazil's fun loving spirit, New Year's celebrations are spectacular demonstrations of the parties for which the country is famous. Rio is the place to be for New Year's Eve as the city flocks to Copacabana Beach for the world's most spectacular fireworks display.
Every December 31st , 2.5 million people gather at Copacabana Beach to celebrate New Year's in Rio de Janeiro There are four kilometers of fireworks exploding in the sky or in the luminous reams on hotel façades and from different barges in the sea. The people, mostly dressed in white, coming from the four corners of the world, bid farewell to the year that is ending and toast the arrival of the new year.

Geo-grafix would like to thank everyone that attended RIO NEW YEARS 2005.
It was an incredible experience! We had over two hundred people come from all corners of the world. We united for three days of special events.
We began with a welcome champagne reception hosted by Antonio Bernando, Brazil’s top jewelry designer. The cocktail reception set the stage for many to meet and get to know each other for the first time. Instant bonding!
The Iemanja Luau held at Copacabana Beach blessed all in attendance. We witnessed the procession of Iemanja –goddess of the Ocean. Thousands of worshippers sent messages of their desires for love, health and happiness. We danced to rhythmic drums and sacred chants of the Afro –Brazilian gods. Local celebrities joined in quickly becoming part of our tribe.
The following night we danced and dined under the stars at the world famous Copacabana Palace. We sipped caipirinhas and listened to live bossa nova and samba music. It was a truly memorable evening.

Our New Year Eve Party was the talk of the town. Noted one of the best parties in Rio by all the Newspaper the following day. Over two hundred international guest dressed in pure white, we enjoyed the local flavor of Brazilian beauties and celebrities. Matt Dillon, Fisher Stevens, Noelle Petterson, Carmindy Acosta and Jared Leto were also in attendance. But are our friends that set the tone for an incredible evening.
With our panoramic penthouse (VIP SKY BOX) view of Copacabana Beach and its two million spectators .We danced to world music by international DJ’s Erick Peredes, Glaucio and, Britain’s own Terry Casey.
Taking us to the highest level of euphoria, orchestrating a climatic warp into the most spectacular fireworks display on the planet. We danced amongst colorful starburst, the emotion kept us going until the first sight of the newest day of the year. The sunrise brought with it a promise of hope and happiness.
